File App consuming memory more than what we used.

I'm using iPhone X, and File app is consuming 14 GB. I deleted several videos from the app including from VLC Application and Recent deleted items, but still memory consumption is remains same. I am sure that maximum 3 GB documents and datas still in the file app, but still consumption is showing 14 GB same as before. how can I get clear remaining memory. Please advise.
