Having a flexgate issue with my macbook pro 15" 2016

I'm having a flexgate issue with my macbook pro 15" 2016.

My screen seems totally fine. There's no glitch and stagelight. the only problem is that the screen is black when it's over 75 degrees.

I was trying to ask to premium shop to repair but they are asking huge amount of fixing fee.

and so I will try to contact to the independent shop but not sure if apple admit this issue on 15" as well, whether i could get a refund in the future.

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.15

Okay it will not be reflect on mirroring mode? cos i don't have any monitor and cable.
If that's GPU issue they would only replace the GPU? do you know how much is the estimated fee on that by any chance?

GPU is solder to the logic board— what you are looking at is a Logic board replacement.

My guess would be near $800 USD

This certainly seems different then the Flexgate (stagelight effect) in the service program as described:

Your machine's issue is not the same as the defective display cable issue. The stage light effect is the result of this so there's nothing Apple will "admit" because your machine is not experiencing the stage light issue. If you send it off to Apple for repair they will inspect it for free and quote you a repair price that you can either accept or decline. If they put out a repair program later that covers your model they MAY issue you a refund upon request, as they have done in the past. For right now it's your responsibility to pay for the repair.

How come this would be GPU issue?? any reason?

You can test if it is a cable issue— by running from an external monitor.

If it is a GPU issue it will also go to black on the external monitor when the GPU reaches your 75º

Independent of this there is no service program for the macbook pro 15" 2016

Unfortunately not. So for example if you paid for a repair at a 3rd party repair shop and Apple suddenly puts out a repair program for your machine neither the repair shop or Apple will issue you a refund (provided Apple offers a refund in the future) for the amount you paid. The repair would have to be done by Apple directly.
