screen time shows 24 hour usage

my screen time shows me using facebook or whatever even when i am sleeping.

apple support said i have to double click the home screen and swipe closed an app every time i use one which seems ridiculous.

but even when i do this it is showing almost 24 hour use. and i obviously don’t use it like this.

ideas?!
