airpods pro not working with ipad pro

airpods pro using ipad pro 12.9 will not connect using amazon music unlimited. When I choose how to listen the airpods pro are listed but cannot be selected. If I then go to settings for ipad pros and use the tips test then go back to amazon music I can select airpods pro and all works as it should

Hello,

Try updating to iPadOS 13.5 to see if it resolves your problem.

Settings > General > Software Update

hi

Thank you, I have done this now but the same issue continues. If I delete and then add the airpods pro back onto the ipad it works about twice then back to having to go to settings and do the tip test then back to amazon music and it works. Seems odd?
