iPadOS 13.5 Failing to Install on iPad Mini 5

Last night, I tried to download iPadOS 13.5, the new version that just came out. However, before going to sleep, I shut my iPad down out of habit and when I turned it on this morning and checked on wether the update had installed, the screen for the software update displayed the infinitely spinning wheel and after a couple of minutes, a pop up that read “Unable to check for update” or something along those lines.

I’ve tried changing wifi networks, (From 5G to 2.4G) connecting to my phone’s personal hotspot and even clearing my iPad’s RAM to no avail.

I have an iPad Mini 5 that is currently running iPadOS 13.4.1.

What can I do to fix this?

Repeat the process, after checking if the download is already on your device (see section "Remove and download the update again") on this support guide:--> Get help with over-the-air iOS updates – Apple Support
