Overheating issues on iOS 13.5
I have been experiencing overheating on my iPhone 11 Pro Max after the iOS 13.5 update even with minimal usage (eg. Safari web browsing). Anyone else having this issue as well?

Yes imean on my xs max ios13.5.1 if you open safari and go to news.google.com especially and scroll for just 2min the phone gets crazy warm I guess it’s a safari bug my recommendation would be use alternative browser till ios14 comes out
Same here. Right after 13.5 my XR overheats and battery drains like crazy!! Something is wrong with this update for sure as the device needs charging all the time throughout the day even on light use.
it drains the battery at a rate of 1-2% a minute and it feels very hot to hold.
I am having the same overheating problems on 13.5.1. On some apps I can start to feel it heat up after a minute.
I have tried a few suggestions. Making sure all my apps were up to date seemed to have helped a little bit but still the problem is there.
Has anyone had any success? I am loathed to do a full factory reset especially as some people have said it made no difference.
Poor you having a second device with heating issues. It’s actually the CPU that heats up, that area just below the camera. If you’re suffering heat from the entire back case then that’ll likely be the battery. I’ve had many iPhones and none have had this problem.
I’m on iOS 14 with one app opened, Safari, to this site and the phone is overheating regularly to the point that the screen is hot to the touch to my fingers. It was working ok before the update with not much overheating.
I updated because XCode/MacOS on a MacBook griped that I needed to for control via Visual Studio on the Windows PC I use for development.
My iPhone 7 Plus is overheating on any application even on simple browsing! IOS 13.5.1. Any fix to that?
