My apple iphone 6s is dead with just a black screen. The battery was renewed 12 months ago. I have tried to force restart but no response - please help

Start here:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t turn on or is frozen

Make sure that it is charged:

Check the charging port for lint or other debris:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t charge

If no help, try to find an authorized repair center that is open:
