Malware can be transferable when I upgrade mr iPhone and iPad?

My iPhone (6s plus) and IPad are jailbroken. Since these devices are about 5 years old, I am thinking of replacing them with new ones. Do you think malware can be transferable from my current devices to the new ones? If that’s the case, what should I do? I am not a tech-savvy guy, by the way.

Thanks in advance.

If you go to the setting I listed (Settings/[your name]/iCloud) you can turn on switches for contacts, photos, calendars, etc. That will sync them to iCloud. On the new phone turn on the same switches and iCloud will sync those items to the new phone. You should not establish a new Apple ID.

You can keep the same phone number. Either move the SIM card from the old to the new phone, or call your carrier for a new SIM. It doesn’t matter which you do.

Hi Lawrence,

Thank you for your quick response again.

I have got into my iCould on my current iPhone. But I don’t see a switch for syncing content. So does it mean that I have to establish a new Apple ID on the new iPhone?

Other questions are 1. Can I keep the same phone number?, 2. Can I still see my photos on my current phone after switching to the new iPhone?

In order to install malware on your phone he would have needed physical possession of your phone while it was unlocked for about a half hour. Did that actually happen? If it didn’t there is no malware on your phone except possibly for the antivirus software installed on your phone, as there is no such thing as antivirus software for iPhones that can actually do anything useful. Unless, of course, you installed the antivirus from a website and not from the App Store. In that case you may have jailbroken your phone yourself.

He didn’t possess my phone physically. I have an antivirus software called Trendmicro on my phone.

The fact that he messes up lots of things on my phone led to believe that I have malware. For example, this morning he stop

ped me from using camera and record function. He also control my emails, when to receive them or not receive them. Facebook doesn’t work properly either. The other day he did not allow me to open lots app icons.
