2020 macbook pro does not pair with bluetooth mouse

this mouse worked perfectly with my 2015 MacBook pro - it's only 2 months old. will not pair or be recognized by the new 2020 mbp. tried the reset of the bluetooth module. no luck. not sure what to do next ...

I see you're having trouble pairing your mouse to your new MacBook Pro. I'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.


Check to see if you're able to pair it while in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac

If it does pair correctly, restart as normal and check if the mouse remains paired.
