Deleting photos
I gave my old iPhone 7 Plus to my partner. I erased the phone and set it back up with his own Apple ID. Problem is somehow he has all my photos on there and I can’t delete them. Please how can I fix this?

Has this been Associated to his Apple Account?
Apple devices can only be associated to one account every 90 days.
He’s probably associated this to his account. If so, then you’ll have to wait 90 days to re-associate it to your account, and then another 90 days to re-associate it to his Account.
Few Thoughts, if Associated to his Account...
A. Any Apps that Manage Photos?:
Remove any apps on the iPhone that he may have installed. They may be working with the photos in one manor or another at the moment.
B. Disable Photos in iCloud:
See if you can now delete these.
C. Use iCloud.com to Delete These:
Transfer these photos to your account by logging into iCloud.com. Then, upload these. Once uploaded, delete these from his iCloud account and the iPhone itself.
He’s been using the phone for a while now but after backing up, downloading the latest update and me sharing my storage plan with him he now has my photos. I’m not sure which one of these enabled him to now have my photos. I don’t want him to lose his information that he’s put on his phone

I assume this means you somehow share iCloud storage (as part of Family Sharing, perhaps) and you store the photos in iCloud Photos. That would explain it.
