iphone video transferred to pc only plays audio

I took 3 short videos on the same day on my iphone, then transferred them to my pc. I can play one of the three just fine. The other two only play audio, not video, on the PC. They all play fine on my iphone.

The properties are the same for all of them and I didn't change any settings -- as I said I took them all on the same day. How do I get the two videos to fully transfer to my pc so I can play them with both audio AND video?

Possibly there were some differences in how these files were transferred?

The iPhone can convert H.265 HEVC to H.264 AVC during the transfer. If this is not done for some of the files, and the PC has no H.265 HEVC decoding capability, then these may play without video.

You can transfer them again (through USB) for an intended conversion,

or you can install the H.265 HEVC codec.

Using HEIF or HEVC media on Apple devices - Apple Support

You can set the iPhone to record in H.264 from now on. Settings﹥Camera﹥Formats﹥Most Compatible (H.264)|High Efficiency (H.265).

You can set the iPhone convert automatically (i.e. if needed) or never. Settings﹥Photos﹥Transfer to Mac or PC﹥Automatic|Keep Originals.

Transferring through other means (sharing services, DropBox, etc.) may skip these handy features.
