GarageBand instruments missing

Trying to use Garageband on my iPad, but when I attempt to add an instrument, I only get drum options, and all others are greyed out. Does anyone know what can be done?

iOS 14 update resets all presets in external apps connected with GarageBand I am a musician who makes electronic music, and I use GarageBand almost daily. I take advantage of another app called Zeeon that connects to GarageBand, which is a synthesiser that I can use to create my own sounds and add them as presets. After installing iOS 14, an irritating issue came up. I've found that all the sounds that I've had previously saved to Zeeon have been reset to the default saw wave. https://streamable.com/5gyyyc Not only this, but all of the GarageBand songs I have saved to my device and include Zeeon tracks also have the Zeeon sounds reset. And even after saving a song after altering the synthesiser sound, the Zeeon tracks still revert to their default sound. My friend who also uses GarageBand has experienced this same issue as well. This is an extreme hinderance to my music production. Is there any way to reverse this?

Record and Monitor Icon Not Displaying in IPAD Garageband Hi all, I’ve seen variations of this question asked and answered for Mac GarageBand but haven’t had any luck replicating the solutions with my iPAD. I’m looking to record guitar and vocals at the same time, and even though I’ve got input 1 and input 2 plugged in I don’t see the record or monitor icon in my iPAD as I would expect to see it. I’m sure I’m missing something very obvious, any insights? Here is what I am seeing:
