Catalina 10.15.5 update will not finish installing

I have tried the following more than 5 times by now.

So here is what happens:

I have the update downloaded

I click on "Update Now"

Computer prompts me to restart, which I do

After the computer has restarted and I have input my password

I am taken back to the SAME window with the message that says :

Does anyone have a fix for this?

I fixed it. The problem was that I didn’t have enough storage space in my hard drive. Once I cleared some space the update installed no problem.

I don't have a fix, but I have this exact. same. problem.
