My iPhone 11 won't sync
My iPhone won’t sync up to my Mac mini. It seems to just connect and disconnect repeatedly. What could be the problem?

My iPhone won’t sync up to my Mac mini. It seems to just connect and disconnect repeatedly. What could be the problem?

Actually the new cord isn’t a regular cord. It come with its own charger that has what seems like a mini hdmi port. So the new cord has a mini hdmi end that can’t be plugged into a USB port.

Ah, for the future, you should only use Apple-approved cables and chargers with your Apple gear. Your iPhone came with the proper cable to connect to standard USB. If your Mac uses USB-C, then you should use Apple’s Lightning to USB-C cable.

The iPhone 11 is quite new. Hopefully the cord is as well.
Sorry I failed to mention that is the cord that came with my iPhone 11 with an hdmi mini end.
