I record a VIDEO of the birthday of my daughter on my iPhone 11 pro max and when I play it on the default iPhone app of pictures is without sound also the volume icon is grey, with a slash on the middle, so I can not turn it on the volume.
Is only on that SPECIAL video that I record and when I record the video everything was normal on the iPhone, you didn’t notice something is wrong.
This is a really bad bug on the “best” smarthphone.
Hey thanks for contacting with apple support try reseting your iPhone settings settings>general>Reset>Reset all settings( none of the media will be deleted) please be careful that you are checking the correct option.
Hi again. Yes I did it, I record another videos of the party the same day and are with sound, and all correct.
The point here is How to TRUST again in an iPhone to record an special moment ?
Because when I record that video without sound, the screen or the device didn’t tell me was a problem/error.

Do you know which bug caused that issue ?
Try to record a video, see if it has sound or not. If this problem is repeating, check if your phones microphone is not damaged( the little hole next to camera) it needs hard ware fixing.
