Using Siri to find 2nd iPhone.

If I ask our Homepods to find my wife's iphone "Hey Siri, find Kay's iPhone", it works (the phone pings). If a moment later, she asks to find her iphone, either by its name (same phrase I used) or "Hey Siri, find my iPhone" Siri says she needs to use the Find my app. The Find my system is working great for me but not for her. Any idea why? All devices have been automatically updated recently (28 May 2020).

HomePod, 13

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities rsw211,

I see that you're having an issue with your HomePod not responding to your wife's phrasing or commands to Siri. I can understand the concern and wanting to get this resolved, and I'd be happy to help.

Take a look at the article below with some troubleshooting steps, including resetting the HomePod and testing to see if the issue remains.

Let me know how this goes and if you notice any changes.
