iPhone 8 shutdown will not start back up

I was using my iPhone 8 and it just shut down. I thought the battery was dead. Plugged it in and let it sit for an hour. The screen stayed black and didn’t show the phone charging. Tried restarting it with no luck. Just a black screen. I looked on here for solutions. Tried the force restart. I believe the one where you press the volume up button, the volume down button, and the power button on the side. I did it a few times with no luck. My 2 year apple warranty just ended in January. Just my luck 😂. Does anyone have any other solutions for this problem? Thank you for you taking your time reading this and helping. Have a nice day

Sincerely

Sometimes it's a bad cable or charger.

If you don't have a second charger you could try, plug it into a USB port in your computer and leave it plugged into your phone for 15-20 min.

If that doesn't work, you will need to try a different cable to check that the cable isn't bad.

Beyond that, you could try to restore the phone using your computer.
