Why does Magic Trackpad 2 have extreme erratic behaviour on High Sierra? Trackpad 1 works fine but Trackpad 2 clicks multiple random times when the surface is touched. I`ve used it plugged in and with bluetooth, deleted bluetooth preferences etc etc, nothing helps. Any remedies would be much appreciated!

I don't know what year iMac you have but the Magic Trackpad 2 requires a Late 2014 or newer iMac.

I used my Magic Trackpad II on my Late 2009 27" iMac for about 4 years and it worked just fine.
All I had to do was plug in the USB-to-Lightening cable and pair it that way. Once it was paired, I was able to unplug the cable and use it via Bluetooth.
Like I said it worked very well. The iMac died, otherwise I would still be using it on my iMac. Now I use it with my Macbook Pro setup as my desktop machine while working from home until they let us return to work.
