Why is it pending yet deducted from my bank account?
Why does my Apple Pay show as pending but, it was deducted from my bank account?
Because a pending hold temporarily debits the associated account immediately to assure that the actual charge or debit will be accepted. If the hold is released or the charge not completed the amount will be credited back. This is not unique to Apple Pay; it is true for any charge or debit on any card for any reason.
