Can’t install procreate

i have an ipad air /2 running iOS 12.4.7, i’m trying to install procreate but it won’t let me,

I know procreate requires a different iOS but my ipad can’t update to that and i’ve contacted procreate and they say it’s possible but to contact apple support.

they advised to buy the app as a gift to myself but that didn’t work either, any ideas?

thanks.

Since Procreate just had a recent update to iPadOS 13, if you have access to a full computer, you could download, install and use an older version of iTunes on a full computer that will allow you to purchase apps from the iOS App Store within this older version of iTunes.

Back on your iPad, launch the iOS App Store app and tap on the tiny account icon at the upper right corner of the iOS App Store main screen and then tap on Purchases to see if the Procreate app appears there.

Then tap on the app and see if the iOS App Store will allow you to install the last compatible version of the Procreate app.

The version of iTunes for a Mac or PC that you need to download, install and use is available here in my link with more complete procedures

I do not see how we (just users like you) or Apple could help you, if the app can work only on devices which can run iOS 13.2 or later (not possible on your iPad, because of hardware incompatibility).

If you'd like, you can contact Apple Support reporting what the manufacturer's support team suggested, but, in my opinion, you'll get no help about that matter:--> Contact – Official Apple Support
