Cannot upload music to my iPod anymore because of Apple Music. I only know how to use iTunes.

I have never used Apple Music. How do I upload music that I've uploaded from cd's onto my iPod now? I have only ever used iTunes.

If you've upgraded your computer to macOS 10.15 Catalina see What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support.

If you've taken out a subscription to the Apple Music service then see Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support. The idea is that you enabled Sync Library (aka iCloud Music Library) in each library or device and your music collection syncs over the air automatically instead of syncing over USB.
