Windows installer can't see bootcamp partition on upgraded MacBook Air 6,2

Hi!

I recently upgraded my MacBook Air 6,2 (2013) running OS Catalina 10.15.5 with m.2 nvme drive (intel 665p 1Tb) and I wanted to dedicate a portion to windows. Trying to install Windows Education edition(with license) and after going through the standard procedure with bootcamp, when the installer comes to the point of selecting a drive to store windows, it doesn't show any internal drives. I tried using load drivers and selecting the folder from the usb stick but it won't pick up any. Can any one please suggest me what's wrong or what can I do

I've installed windows on this Mac earlier with apple SSD, I didn't face any problem like this. I'm not sure if its the new drive formatted in APFS(encrypted) or something with the drivers from bootcamp.

Apple uses proprietary SSDs. The Intel NVMe will work for macOS, but not for Windows. I assume you are using a Sintech adapter.

Connect your USB, check only Install, partition, hold Alt/Option and select EFI Boot. Do you see a partition selection screen after the installer starts?

Can you identify which of the three UI 'styles' do you see - Bootcamp User Interface - Apple Community?

If you click on the Bootcamp partition in macOS Finder, do you see any files?

You may be able to install Linux, and it is worth a test. The issue is related to Windows drivers. If you are willing to experiment, we can bypass BC Assistant and try to install Windows.

Sorry for the delay! Well, I made a Windows 10 Pro install drive through bootcamp as you suggested, tried my luck again with the installation but after installation, it get stuck to a blue screen with the typical message "ran into a problem and we need to restart your PC", it keeps on doing it but doesn't boot up with windows.

When I reboot while holding the option key and select efi, windows logo comes up and then it crashes with the error (blue scree). When I log back into Mac OS and go to disk utility I can still see the boot camps partition but widows doesn’t load when I try to do it
