Bluetooth AAC audio codec not working since Catalina 10.15.5 update

Since Apple updated Catalina to 10.15.5, my Sony WH-CH500 headphones are using SBC codec. I tried to change it manually with the Bluetooth Explorer developer tool, but didn't work.

Anyone having the same problem?

Problems with Bluetooth since moving to Big Sur I have AKG Y500 Bluetooth headphones that worked perfectly well with the Catalina OS. Upgraded (I think actually downgraded!) to Big Sur and ever since the headphones crackle if left to connect automatically. The only solution is to 'remove' them using Bluetooth options and then reinstate them when I want to use them again. Thought this was an upgrade but hey ho. Is there any solution to this?

Bluetooth headphones get disconnected with Big Sur I have Sony WH-CH710N bluetooth headphones that worked fine with Catalina but since updating to Big Sur get disconnected after about 5-10 seconds. I have tried restarting and factory resetting the headphones I have reset the bluetooth module I have deleted bluetooth preferences and restarted my computer (iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) several times I have checked for interfering bluetooth signals and ensured none are present Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones keep connecting and disconnecting from 2015 iMac running Big Sur 11.5 My Sony WH 1000XM3 headphones (firmware version 4.5.2) are no longer working with my iMac (Late 2015) running Big Sur (11.5). The Bluetooth keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. I do not have Adaptive Sound Control turned on. One time I unpaired and re-paired and that seemed to work. But I can't do that every time. What is the real fix here? It used to work before one of the Big Sur updates. Thanks!
