Apple TV won't stop asking to activate home sharing in iTunes

1.

I would like to stream a video from my iMac, late 21013 OS Catalina, to my Apple TV media-layer 2nd generation. On my iMac and AppleTV home sharing are activated, but my Apple TV don't stop asking to activate home sharing in iTunes. iTunes don't exist anymore. So what to do?

2.

Airplay from the Apple TV app on my iMac is impossible. 'Wireless signal to weak' it says, but everywhere in the house the signal is 90-100%.

Make sure home sharing is enabled and that the Mac is running and has the TV app and/or Music app open. Both home sharing and airplay are done over the local wireless network. In order to see a proper representation of the network it's best to run a diagnostic report using istumbler or similar. This will give accurate signal strength along with noise detection and nearby networks
