Screen changing colour momentarily on Netflix

While watching Netflix, if I increase volume either by pressing the arrow buttons or volume buttons, the screen will flicker for half a second to a yellow-ish colour. It also happens when I turn on subtitles, or change the brightness of the screen/keyboard. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

Are you using safari? If yes, Please check for the same issue using other browser like chrome, firefox etc..

Please check if you have same issue in safe mode?

How to use safe mode to troubleshoot: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Note: Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, and fonts not installed by macOS. It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility. And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache, which are automatically created again as needed.

Not sure if you have checked in safari and safe mode. This helps to know if there is any issue with the software that is causing it.

Where re-installing macOS should help.

See if Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac this helps to resolve:

Not sure if SMC reset would help to your problem but give it a try.

Also worth mentioning your model/year of the macbook.
