Male to male adapter for Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3?

Is there an adapter available to connect a 2014 Mac Mini with Thunderbolt 2/mini display port to a Thunderbolt 3 display, such as the LG 4K UltraFine? I seem to only find TB2 female to male TB3 cables and adapters. I’ve searched the Apple support site and various shopping sites and am thinking I may be out of luck.

Mac Mini M1 is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter? I just bought a mac mini M1 and trying to connect it with TB3 to TB2 adapter for display purposes, it seems it doesnt work (although Apple manuals say it should). Is anyone has a solution or faced a similar issue? Thanks

I am sorry, you will not be able to use this display on this model of Macintosh.

You plug the Thunderbolt 3 end of the adapter

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter - Apple

into the Thunderbolt 3 device and connect the Thunderbolt 2 end of the adapter to the Mac mini with a Thunderbolt cable.
