Apple watch series 5 can’t turn off compass

This is regarding compass app on my apple watch 5 series. After closing the app down using the side button and X the app continues to open itself when the screen goes off and I bring the screen back up always i need to close the app using the side button and X the app. Is there any permanent solution to fix this issue?
