Message failed to send

I have a contact on my IPad and iPhone, when I try sending a message from my iPad I get a “message failed to send “ ever time. The progress bar goes to about 90% and stops. I have tried deleting contact and the adding again. I can send from iPhone and iPad Pro, any help would be appreciated.

Unable to send text to only one contact. Today I was texting someone and I sent a message containing about 5000+ characters. It was unable to send. After that. Every single message was able to send to only that contact. I texted another contact and it worked perfectly fine. I have tried everything from restarting my iphone, to deleting and restarting the conversation, to completing deleting and recreating the contact. Messages not working Hi my messages work normally for everyone apart from one contact, from which I can receive messages but not send. When I try sending a message, it shows up as sent on my phone but the contact doesn’t receive it at all.
