Activation locked

I have an Iphone 7+. Last week my phone has an issue, so I took it to repair shop. The guy erased my Iphone, and tried to set it up as new, then it asked to sign in with my apple ID. Now it got stuck because I don’t remember neither my user ID, password, nor email.

the thing is I bought this phone at retailer store , and had them set everything up for me couple years ago. They actually gave me a piece of paper containing my apple id infos, but I lost it 😅.

i also try to get help from apple, but where i live in doesn’t have apple store or center.

Any ideas or any suggestions, and help will be greatly appreciate. 🙏🏻

This read pertains to activation lock; all iDevice possibilities are covered below. Note that no one here is authorized to provide instructions for removing activation lock and that activation lock is a theft deterrent system.

See Turn off Activation Lock https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201441See this heading If you erased your own device. It says: "If you don't sign out of iCloud before you put your device in recovery mode and restore, it might remain in Activation Lock. That means you need to enter the same Apple ID and password that … was used when … [the device was last set up]."

[Use] forgot your Apple ID or your Apple ID password [to recover the needed credentials if you don't know them.]

If you have iOS 11 or later and your account is protected with two-factor authentication, you can turn off Activation Lock with your device Passcode. Tap Unlock with Passcode, then tap Use Device Passcode."

_________

Note that no one but the person that last set up the device will be successful in following the above instructions. So, if you are not that person, you will need to get the required password from the person that last set it up (i.e., the guy that erased it). Can you get it from him at the repair shop?

If you are the last person that set it up and can't follow the instructions successfully, then you will need to contact Apple Support and present your original purchase receipt for a pertinent device from an authorized Apple seller with the device’s serial number on it. Unfortunately, I see you don't have the receipt. So this alternative is a dead end.

Is the phone still asking for the old Apple ID? If the phone is acting like a new phone, did the repairman remove the activation lock? Have you tried making a new ID to see if it works?

Apple ID - create a new.

Apple ID – Create

if you are the original owner, contact Apple. They can remove the Activation Lock if provided the required paperwork.

I don’t know how the repair man did it. He just told he couldn’t get it fixed due to an i cloud locked or something. Now I got my phone back, and i turned it on, it has the features like when we a new iphone set up. I tried to set it up myself, and then again it got stuck with unable to sign in an apple ID. By the way, the receipt I still have it. What I lost was a piece of paper containing my apple id’s info. So, Sorry for confusing you 😅.

again, like i mentioned on my first post, i tried to look up for apple store in my country , but i couldnt find any, so I assumed there wasn’t one over here. In that case, can I still get apple help in other country, if so, will my receipt which is in original language be acceptable?

thanks
