MacBook Air crashing once or twice a day

In particular, booting into safe mode might help. Knowing if you can replicate the issue in safe mode or not helps to rule out some software causes: How to use safe mode on your Mac. Once you test in safe mode, click Apple menu () > Restart to get back to normal. If things work as expected in safe mode, try the steps in the "If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode" section of the link I posted.

When you say it crashes, what exactly happens? Does the Mac restart, do the apps quit, or something else?
