Macbook Air - Mojave OS flashing question mark now a circle with line through it

I have tried the Command R and Option Command R to reboot. Once I got to my password enter screen but no further and at one point got a spinning globe and then nothing. Tried again (several times). Now it is a circle with a line through it. I don't care if I loose the info on the computer. I just want to be able to use my computer.

try again, restart while pressing and holding the Command and R keys.

From the Utilities panel select Disk Utility.

Click View in the menubar and Select All Devices.

In the left hand panel click on each of the disks/ volumes

and run First Aid.

When all get the green tick, try restarting again.
