Burning music CDs from iTunes Playlists

iTunes (Version 12.10.7.3) shows me the options of setting the time lag between tracks and performing sound check, but neither works. I used these options for 10 years without any problem, but I don't know if the source of the problem is Windows 10, my disk drive (new Dell cd/DVD burner, or iTunes..Bottom line: how to I fix it?

Windows, Windows 10

Hi LJS520,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. I understand you are having difficulty burning Cds through iTunes. I'd be happy to assist.

Before proceeding on resolving this matter I'd recommend that you make a backup of your computer. Once you have made a backup your next step would be to create a new user account to see if your issues persist in that account. If issues persist then you will want to uninstall iTunes and reinstall. Here is a great resource on how to remove and reinstall iTunes: Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later

Enjoy.
