@Figbash : The issue in my case was, it was sudden and not dependent on any apps, it was appearing on home screen and on any app.. even after the iPad is reset.
Update : The Amazon India helped with Tablet inspection and based on that analysis, the item is now returned to Amazon India and the amount is refunded back to account.

If the line doesn’t respond to a forced-restart of your iPad, you may have a hardware screen fault.
To force-restart your iPad:
If unresponsive to the restart, you should contact Apple Support for assistance. You’ll find the Contact Support link at top-right of the page.
Thanks for your response . I do not see the issue now though.
Apple support suggested to return the item back to Amazon .
Amazon is sending a technician tomorrow to look into the issue.

This issue was consistent across all apps and even on home screen.
It was appearing an hour back but do not see the issue now
No issues seen now :

Update : Amazon.in sent a Tablet inspection service to my home address. The inspection guy could not replicate the issue and just reset the iPad and left.
The issue reappeared after few hours.On informing Amazon.in again, Amazon.in is sending another Tablet inspection on Monday 8 June 2020 . The last date to replace/return is 12th Jun 2020.

Update :
Had chat with Apple support. In case if Amazon do not replaces this defective piece, the only piece of advice is to run with this very new defective piece of iPad pro to Apple Authorized Service centre to get it fixed in mid of this this corona outbreak.
This is bad.... :(

I get this same thing, on mine it is lined up with the side of home indicator in procreate and also on the quick erase button in fresco, and they only appear in portrait mode.
Setting Display Zoom to Standard instead of Zoomed in Settings/Display & Brightness seems to fix them on mine, can you see if that fixes it for you?
I see the issue again now ‘ it’s kind of on and of , not consistent and difficult to replicate now
You appear to have a screen fault (hardware). If you can return your iPad for a replacement, you would be well advised to do so.
