new iphone or refurbished?

hello everyone... i own an amazing iphone XR .

but friend of mind showd me some information about how to tell if my iphone is new or refurbished by the first letter of the model.

if it starts with M its brand new

if it starts with N its a replacment

if it starts with F its refurbished

mind starts with N ...what does it mean replacmet iphone? not new? renew?

by the way i am from israel my model is a1984.

and whem i checked coverage is showed valid.

hop you guys can give a answer...thank you.

N usually means it's a refurbishment iPhone too, so a perfect example is there was an issue with the first iPhone XR and it was then replaced by Apple with another iPhone XR which usually would be refurbishment (not a brand new device)
