Application does not exist

I have the same question. I could not sign in, so I clicked "forgot password". I have tried this three times. Every time I reset the password, it says success, but when I try to log into my account through my phone for through the apple store and click on my picture, I get this same message when I type in the new password.

Well, it worked for a split second, now I’m receiving the same message again. Will keep everyone updated.

Having the exact same issue. Got here by trying to upgrade the storage plan and when asked me for password this Came up. I tried restarting, checking payment method was correct, getting same thing in my iPad logged to same account.

I’m trying to sign into my iCloud and frankly everything else that uses my Apple ID.

i just replaced my old iPhone 8+ with at&t, [side note they were amazing when it came to replacing my old insured phone... they sent a new iPhone 11 with the same 128gb storage that I had on my old phone.]

this error message pops anytime I try to sign into my account and update everything.

This looks like and Apple issue. Every time we try to sign in it says the application you have entered doesn’t exist . We have changed the password several times. We are Apple to use the Apple ID with the phone apps.

This happened to me. I was trying to use my Apple Pay and it asked me to sign in. I tried typing in my password and it said “verification failed” “application you have selected does not exist”. Even though I know my password was correct. I tried to reset it and it said the same thing when I went to use the new one.

It’s on everything for me, I was literally just in the store and come out to see my phone saying entire Apple ID password, I do then it says that. I’m glad I’m not the only one but I’ve reset it and made it simple yet still says that. I’m just really frustrated honestly.

Same issue here. Must be a glitch. I got a message to verify my password and when I tried to it says "application does not exist" So I tried to login to icloud. Same thing. But the password worked to login here...

This same thing is happening to me as well. It has never done this before and I reset my phone, changed my password 3 times and when I try to log into my Apple ID, it says application does not exist or password is incorrect. It can’t be a coincidence because this is happening to another person on the same freaking day.

Getting the same message as well. Just got an iPad and realized there was a problem when I tried synching it to my phone. Password is correct. Have already reset password twice and still dealing with the same issue

Exact same problem here too. Started on my iPhone with a message on the lock screen saying I needed to sign back in with my Apple ID. It wouldn't accept it. So then I did a password reset and it went away on my phone, but now everywhere else throws this message when I try to log in (iCloud.com for example)

Same thing here. Can't access my settings on my ipad, iphone, or online in a browser. As someone else mentioned, I am surprised I can log in here because the apple support login gave me the same "The application you have selected does not exist" error. I tried the contact support button. After going through a few unhelpful menus, it said "Call Support Later". Come on, Apple!

Please, acknowledge your problem and FIX IT!

Where in settings? There are a number of different places in Settings where you may need to sign in.
