Application does not exist

i just noticed theres a software update 13.5.1

I'm having the same issue, I'm pretty sure that this issue is related with the apple system, since multiple people are reporting the same problem during the last hour.

I was just able to sign into my account and all, you should all try as well.

Same thing happened to me. I went to Apple through google and used 2 factor authentication to get password changed after 2nd attempt, it worked and my phone resumed as it should.

I am having same issue on both my iPhone and iPad I purchased something in a game and now it said I need to sign in and when I do in setting under the sign in or anywhere all I get is verification failed

Same issue for me. When I log in on my iphone settings or in my macbook settings under icloud, I get the same message" Verification Failed. The application you have selected does not exist." On my macbook, it allowed me to reset my password and subsequently that password allowed me to log into the support pages, but I cannot access anything that uses my apple id on my iphone (no apple pay, etc).

Same. I have tried signing into password & security section, find my iPhone, and iCloud online. The iCloud and find my iPhone both in settings on my iPad and iPhone, and online on the iPad, iPhone, and s10 5g phone. Nothing is working. I’ve even tried resetting my password and it won’t take it

Same issue on my mac. iCloud settings in system preferences, on the web when trying to log in to create an application specific password, and the application specific password I had created for fantastical just last week mysteriously stopped working. The new one I generated won't work either. I'm surprised I was able to log in here.

I also had this notification show up when I went into Apple ID and tried to enter my Apple password. I also downloaded a new app to my macbook air and went to sign in on my Apple ID and it gave me that error message. But I signed into my Apple ID to get onto this forum and had no issues.

It's happening to me in Mail, App Store, iCloud and anywhere else that my Apple ID and password are required. Ironically enough, I can use my credentials to sign into here from my PC. iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch are all useless right now, as well as trying to sign-in into my email on my PC.

I tried to purchase something with Apple Pay and it asked me for my iCloud password. I tried multiple passwords it could be and it kept saying ‘Verification failed- The application you have selected does not exist’ so I tried to change my password which prompted settings to ask me for my new iCloud password but it is still showing the same message when I try to log in so now my phone isn’t signed into iCloud at all.

Glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue right now. Literally trying to pay a bill with Apple Pay and I can't sign into any of my devices except the desktop version. I literally just changed my password 7 times and it doesn't let me sign in unless its desktop. So annoying!

My phone is doing this too. I wasn't even using it, it prompted me on my lock screen to enter my password for the cloud. I figured somehow I'd gotten signed out but when I put in my password it says "validation fail, application does not exist." Keeps prompting me to enter my password while I use the device
