guys this just happened to me. i was super weirded out, but try resetting ur pw with this link. i was able to chamge my password and fix the application not found message. https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin

Glad to see more that me is having this issue! I thought I did something wrong! It allowed me to change my password but still to no avail. Still getting the same “Verification Failed” message.
