It looks like it's an official problem.

I tried to put a ticket into Apple, and they called me back, but they were unable to fulfill my ticket.

The Apple status page indicates (currently) that iCloud account ability and sign in abilities have issues, iCloud mail has issues, and iCloud Web Apps have issues. Source: https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/

It looks like this issue is going public too: https://9to5mac.com/2020/06/02/psa-icloud-and-other-apple-services-experiencing-downtime/ Reports indicating further issues with App Store, and Apple Pay.

I think for now, its best just to hang on and wait for the Apple engineers to fix it. It's obviously a big problem and they are working on it. No need to rush and change your passwords or anything like that.

The same is happening to me on all my devices. I even tried downloading other apps just to try but none worked. I couldn't even get in to check on my account information. This is the only place I could get in with my apple id and it was only after two factor authorization.

Update: I did what it said above and was able to download apps again and it seems like every thing is working just by logging in to https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage

It is an issue on Apples end. The only thing we can do is wait for Apple to resolve the issue. If you check out Apple's System Status page under Apple Support you will find that they are currently expierecing an issue with iCloud account log ins at this time. It also states there is nothing we can do on our end other than wait for Apple to resolve the problem... systemstatus
