Application you selected does not exist

I have the exact same issue.

My AppStore stopped allowing me to download any apps like Badoo or Tinder, though I have no age restrictions set, while it would work with other apps like PicsArt or Glovo. I decided to relog into the AppStore app and now it tells me that the "application does not exist". I have iPhone XR.

This is so frustrating.

Same, I thought i got hacked, i also noticed the the 2 factor authentication thinks i am in Texas! I am in California not Texas, over and over again it's asking me to allow connection assuming i am connecting from Texas. Is this happening to anyone else?

APPLE JUST UPDATED (@4:55) TO SHOW THERE IS AN ISSUE ON THEIR SYSTEM STATUS WEBSITE.

This is happening to me too! On a newer iPad, Apple Watch 2 I believe, and iPhone XS.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one... I was getting super anxious and changed my password more than once.

I even looked at other threads/sites trying to problem solve using their ideas based on other issues that involved the apple ID - restarted my iPhone, tried to sign out and sign back in (which it won't let you with this issue due to find my iphone), reset my password... all to no avail.

Same problem. Cannot log in to iCloud on phone or computer with my Apple ID. On phone it shows "Verification Failed" The application you have selected does not exist". On the computer, "The application you have selected does not exist."

Yeah, I'm having the exact same issue. Must be a system wide glitch. I noticed that about an hour ago, my iCloud email account was removed from the Gmail app on my iPhone. I also can't login to iCloud.com from my laptop browser. I keep getting a message about "the application you have selected does not exist."

Having the same exact issue as everyone else. My Apple TV was asking for the password and kept giving me the Application could not be found. Same with my laptop. Only thing that works in terms of the password is the logging into this support forum.

I’m also getting the same error. Everything worked fine last night and was even able to download a game. Went into the App Store just now and it was asking me to log in. Tried to log in with the same password I’ve had for 10 freaking years now and I get the same error. “The application you have selected does not exist.” I changed the password 3 times. No luck. Yet I can log in here and post this with the NEW password I made lol. Hopefully they’re able to resolve it soon.

And if I try to sign onto https://appleid.apple.com/, I do the 2-factor verification with the 6-digit code, it signs me in for a second and then immediately signs me out saying that my "session has timed out"

Same here! At first I tried updating my apps and it said “your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes”. I didn’t know how to fix that so I tried signing out of my Apple ID and signing back in and that’s when it said “Application you have selected does not exist”.

Same for me, something must have gone seriously wrong with an Icloud server that's causing everyone to be signed out and unable to sign in again. I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with the situation in the US rn.

First noticed this on one device, tried logging in " The application you have selected does not exist." So i reset my password on another device. Now im logged out of everywhere and cannot log in, get the same error. Can no longer reset my password either. I'm in limbo.

Yes exactly the same problem with my iPhone and both my children’s iPads that share the same account. I managed to log on here with Face ID. This is so annoying as I know I’ve got the password right.

Also it doesn’t recognise the screen time password on my children’s iPads all of a sudden. I can’t reset it because it doesn’t log on to iCloud with this annoying message you have above.

It was just happening to me to. When I tried to do a password reset using my birth date, it gave the same message. I am able to login now, but not sure if this will happen again. Currently, I am on hold with Apple support and will update as soon as I get something.

I'm hitting this same issue and it's a huge pain because I just bought a new iPhone 11 Pro Max and in order to be able to restore from my old iPhone's backup, I need to disable Find My iPhone on the old phone. This issue is preventing me from doing that, so now I cannot setup my new phone I just bought.

Same, I've tried to login to iCloud on iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Chrome on Windows, all the same error 'The application you have selected does not exist'.

If I go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and login, I can login for a split second and then it gets logged out immediately.

Trying to contact Apple Support now.
