Battery going down when charging

Hi,

my recently purchased Macbook Air 2020 is plugged in all the time to a power source. I noticed that battery is going down from 99-100% to 92-96% and then it goes back up. What is this and why is the battery not at 100% all the time when plugged in? Why is it fluctuating even though notebook is charging all the time? Thank you
