I had a 2018 Mac mini i was using for music production. The DAW of choice is Logic. But it was having difficulties running with all my plugins . I was doing research and people say it will work better with a epgu. My question is how much better and what’s the best epgu to use so I won’t have all the pops and crackles?
An eGPU? A graphics card won’t help with logics core processing. Try different buffer settings, freezing tracks and running at sample rates no higher than 48khz.
Try balancing plug in loads over busses rather than use inserts (reverb, delays even compression can effectively be sends). Set your buffer higher for mixing.

theres no reason your Mac can’t run logic (although you don’t mention it’s spec).
Oh ok, I thought you worked for Apple , my bad. But as for specs I had it maxed out. It would run logic by itself. But when I started to added my own sounds , plug ins , eq and stuff, it couldn’t handle the load.
So, basic there not made for music production? So why does Apple even sell it with Logic even on it, if it can’t handle what producers use it for? Might wanna tell your customers that.

Logic as well as other Apple "pro apps" can overload ~any~ Mac computer. Consider that Movies have been scored and produced on Mac computers with 1/3 the power of your Mac MINI. You can't just add plugins to your hearts desire, you have to know what the **** you're doing. Creativity thrives in limitation.
