Mac mini with Logic Pro X

I had a 2018 Mac mini i was using for music production. The DAW of choice is Logic. But it was having difficulties running with all my plugins . I was doing research and people say it will work better with a epgu. My question is how much better and what’s the best epgu to use so I won’t have all the pops and crackles?

Logic as well as other Apple "pro apps" can overload ~any~ Mac computer. Consider that Movies have been scored and produced on Mac computers with 1/3 the power of your Mac MINI. You can't just add plugins to your hearts desire, you have to know what the **** you're doing. Creativity thrives in limitation.
