Saving PDF files Issue

A couple of weeks ago when saving a PDF file, the save to screen began defaulting to files by date and not by name. Matter of fact the "name" field has disappeared so it's not even an option to sort by. See image

I'm wasn't certain if it was related to Finder so I reset Finder back to default along with a few other "fixes" I found online here but nothing has helped. Finder still has the name field and I can sort by name. But, when saving a PDF it defaults to dates(appears to be when last used) and trying to find the folder by date and not name is becoming tiresome. Any help would be much appreciated.
