My apple tv unit freezes very frequently. If it is being used for more than an hour, it will freeze. And sometimes it will freeze more quickly than that. At that point I am forced to restart the unit, or just switch to an Amazon Fire device. Even though it provides a noticeably better picture, its so annoying that I now default to the Amazon device with the inferior picture.

Most Certainly, don’t place it in the TV cabinet - Place it on a table - in an open location, maybe placing a Laptop Cooler.

Keeping this items Cool:
Place this on a laptop cooler while in use, and do not place it. in a closed location (i.e. in the corner or under the desk)
