Heart rate context "streaming"

My Apple Watch shows various values under Heart rate context. I understand all of them but "streaming." What does that mean?

Okay; I’m not going to be able to help, here.

There are no seemingly published details on the heart rate context, though there are a very few discussions of sedentary and workout, and I do see those listed in the local data.

I don’t see streaming listed here, but that may be the data I’m looking at.

One non-Apple reference to sedentary is supposedly being idle for the five minutes leading up to the measurement, but that’s not from Apple documentation.

I see no articles on this, either. You’ll probably end up contacting Apple Support to ask this question, if nobody here has the definitions. If you do call the support folks, maybe stop back here and post up the answer you receive?

Yes, streaming is a lot less common than some of the other terms. I have to hunt around for specific data with that "context," but it does happen reasonably frequently, as rare things go. I also found "walking" and "ECG," both of which are self-explanatory. And "workout" and "sedentary" (which latter also seems to apply when you are asleep, it looks like - I do wear my Apple Watch at night).

If I get a good explanation not in this string, I'll post it here.
