iPhone and iPad suddenly not syncing email

Mail I delete on one device does not delete on the other, as it used to. Settings are identical in iCloud and Mail. I use Apple Mail with a gmail account, and never log into gmail directly. Please, please help!

Hello Angela,


I rely on my email daily, so can understand how confusing it can be if the email is not syncing and the same across all devices. If you've checked to make sure the Apple ID was the same on both device, and it was, the next step would be to go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts and make sure the accounts and account information matches here for each device.
