My pictures lose quality when I email them

My pictures lose quality when I email them. They look great on my MacBook but become blurry when I email them. Is there a way to email my sharp pictures and keep the quality?

So I'm going to guess you use the default Apple Mail app to send the pics.


When Photos sends a shot over to mail, it's possible that Mail recompresses it. So check the quality setting in the Mail Window:


Note the Image Size dropdown here:



Set it to Actual Size.


Note that option is only visible after you attach a shot.
