Windows 10 Bootcamp (NO BROADCOM ADAPTOR OR DRIVER)

I recent install windows 10 onto our new 2019 4k retina 21.5 Imac , it is running via parallel install onto a SSD 1TB drive, as thought that would keep the fusion drive clean.

All has worked perfect , apart from the issue of only have Broadcom bluetooth and ethernet adaptors present in device manager , which as I have no connectivity with running W10 , I cannot do anything to change the situation of no connectivity .

I need to be able to get wifi running when in windows on this Imac, I have read so much now , and tried a few things so to speak, but none have worked , these include but not limited too:

Deleting adaptors and restarting win

Re installing Bootcamp support files for windows (numerous times) but still no wifi adaptor or driver

Running a .exe from broadcom (half way through it failed)

Finding drivers manually but not being able to update as there is no initial adaptor :(

Does anyone have a workaround to get wifi to work when running windows on the iMac ,

any help would be greatly appreciated , as nothing that i have found in the forums thus far has worked for me ..

thank you in advance

HI , thanks for the taking the time to reply . I will answer below.

Are you running W10 via Parallels as a VM, not W10 via Bootcamp? Do you have a 1TB Fusion drive or a 1TB SSD single drive in your iMac?

I used parallels to install windows to my san disc extreme SSD , so I only used the VM to get win to usb to allow me to install the W10 OS onto the external SSD disc , so that is now running Win 10 , not parallels on iMac fusion, i hope I worded that correctly.. I only used bootcamp assistant to getwork the windows support folder for placing into the SSD so I could then install support files when install was completed on SSD , again hope that makes sense.

Depending on the first answer, you will either have virtual hardware which will be bridged to the hardware in macOS, or W10 will show 'real' hardware without drivers in Windows Device Manager

I am not sure if my above answer clarifies that , but I am running win 10 on my SSD proper and not now using parallels , it seems a lot of people have had a similar ish issue , I do have the Bluetooth and Ethernet adaptor in dev manager on win10 , but I have not a clue how to get my WiFi adaptor on there, or indeed what one I should be using . I have checked the windows support folder boot amp assistant produced , but that dories not have adaptor I can see int he section where drivers are ? Just the aforementioned Bluetooth and Ethernet ..

I did see some stuff where people has exe files for adaptor/driver s, but i have none of the on the win 10 anywhere I have looked.

Yes tried that , nothing else showed up , it seems like the windows support file you download from boot camp assistant only shows the two Broadcom Ethernet and Bluetooth adaptor driver , so just think they do not exist to install, and the update driver option is not in device manager under network adaptors as they are not there in the first place . If that makes sense ...
