Is there a way to get apple music (on mac) to display the year a song was released?

On iTunes there used to be a way to show the year a song was released along with other song details like album, artist, song length, etc. I believe the first iterations of Apple Music had this too. But now while I can figure out how to sort playlists by song year, I don't see a way to actually display the year as its own separate column.

Is there a way to do this anymore? I know you can see the year on mac or mobile app if you get details about that specific song; I'm just trying to display that info full time.

Yes, it works the same. To get back to the view you remember, open the playlist and set View > As Songs. If you don't see a column for Year, add it by right-clicking the column header and checking Year.
