missing phone icon

The phone icon has disappeared from Music when I attempt to sync new music to my Iphone.

Any ideas for getting it back (or where it went)?

Starting with Catalina macOS 10.15 all syncing functions were moved to the Finder. Open any Finder folder window and look for your iPhone in the sidebar, under Locations.
