Final Cut Pro X will not update from 10.4.1 and keeps crashing on Catilina 10.15.5

I have been having problems with FCP crashing randomly and checked my version number vs the latest available. I have 10.4.1 and there have been updates. However, I do not have any options to update in the app store. I only have one apple account, so I know i'm using the one I purchased FCP with. What could be the problems?

Place FCP X in the trash but don't empty it in case you need to "Put Back".

Go to the App Store and download FCP X.

You should get 10.4.8.
